The Whore and the Hypocrite

Animals are sexual beings and human beings are animals. Even a male fetus in the womb has erection (unfortunately there is no way to know about the females). Human beings have realized that and respected the fact for centuries until some stupid came up with the idea of chastity. A word that suddenly made ‘sex’ sound bad also meant that incest, fornication and prostitution became sin. Unfortunately the worst victims of chastity are women. Just because they take the pain of giving birth, society rewarded them with the blame of the original sin.
Women as Sex Object #Wikipedia

Statues of mother goddesses with big breasts and exaggerated sexuality depicting fertility has been discovered all over the world dating back to over ~30,000 yrs. Goddesses like Inanna, Isis, Asherah, Artemes, Shakti, Guanyin and Mazu not only represented fertility but power and freedom of women. However with chastity all that changed. Female deities were burnt, broken, outlawed and replaced by male Gods. As sex was bad many of these male gods had no option but to take birth by divine magic and not sex. Women and virginity became a holy combination and the only way mother Mary could survive in this new world.

Aristotle (384-322BC) believed that man is by nature superior to the female and so the man should rule and the woman should be ruled. Thomas Aquinas (1225-74) dismissed women as “defective and misbegotten”. According to the laws of Manu "Women, Sudra, dog and crow embody untruth, sin and darkness". Creation stories too tell us a great deal about a society’s view of women. In the Judao-Christian version Eve is the cause of all human misery. In Greek mythology the first woman, Pandora, was created as a form of punishment because men had learned from Prometheus the secret of making fire. Pandora was beautiful and irresistible to men, but she was made deliberately in a way that brought sorrow, harm and trouble to man. Yes women....listen very carefully...if you are sexy you are BAD....History shows the hypocrisy of our society that downgrades that part of it without which it would not exist.

Marriage is a creation of civilization, it isn't natural. Fornication is how animals breed, and that’s how we used to breed. That’s how nature made it. It is stupid to consider it impure. Marriage was probably a product of human insecurity, or a way for strategic alliance. None of it sounds divine to me. If circling around the fire seven times was divine then there would have been no divorce. All a couple needs is to be in love to stay together... no ceremony, no piece of paper can be more pure then love.

In an experiment scientists were trying to teach monkeys the value of money (check this). Soon there was a male monkey who gave some of his money to a female monkey, as if it had no value. Few minutes later they were both caught having sex. Soon after the act was over, the female used that money to buy grape juice. If money cannot buy you happiness, it can definitely buy you thinks that can make you happy.  She was probably the first monkey prostitute, or may be not. All you need is a man with money and a woman in need (can be other way round, but rare) to begin prostitution. Prostitution exists since time immemorial. It began the moment human beings had something valuable to trade. The oldest record is found in the 18th century BC code of Hammurabi. It was not illegal then. 'Devdasis' were one of the most respectable women in the society. 'Women+Sex' was not equal to 'Bad'. The whole industry of prostitution and porn survives because of men and it is the same men who blame women for it. It is the same men who shout when Sunny Leone joins Big Boss. Probably they are angry because she is wasting time in a stupid show instead of making free porn for them. Same people want to kill Veena Malik for posing nude in a men’s lifestyle magazine and not perform stripping live in front of them Listen again women...if you enjoy sex...you are BAD. When men enjoy sex, they are just being men.

Following one’s heart is not vice, it’s wise. The concept of chastity tries to forcefully curb our basic instinct resulting in confusion and trouble. That is hypocrisy. Somehow it is women who are made to bear the "sin" of human beings sexual instincts. And it is not only a group of men, many women share the same biased feelings against women. That is hypocrisy. It is better to be a whore than a hypocrite.

  7. Wonderful post. It's great to see how you do so much research before every post. It was quite interesting a research about the monkeys, and I wonder how you could reach upto it, for this post. :) Keep writing.

  8. I love all the history brought up. We are animals. My co-workers drive me insane. They think we are in our own category. While it is true, we may be smart and powerful there are many animals that could kick our ass if it weren't for our weapons.

  9. A very thought provoking post. I admire the amount of research gone into this. It was really interesting to read the about the monkey prostitute. Tells us a lot about the things we consider wrong today. Wonderful to see such a post coming from a guy.

I suppose that the evolution of humans as a superior intellectual beings, began by shedding animal nature. That is what spirituality tells us as well, to conquer one's own animal nature. But, this should be an individual choice. People should not be shunned for embracing their animal instincts. Completely agree with you on that.

  12. Just too awesome, as usual. I so subscribe to this school of thought, infact i feel there IS NO NEED for another school of thought. Can there be actually an other take on this?, unfortunately and most strangely there is !...

The raw essense of the post i found in these lines - "Following one’s heart is not vice, it’s wise."www.readmeatblogpage.blogspot.com

  13. Well doesn't that make easy - to blame the women. I raped coz - she dressed inappropriately, i went to her - coz she called me, i watched porn - coz she lured me into it .... You're very right, hypocrites we're ..

Probably the best one I have read here

  16. My dear Watson, passing on our genes to the progeny is an unconscious primal urge that dominates over everything. That is how men argue for sex and make societal rules that impose chastity on women, to ensure that only our genes get passed on and not our rivals'!

  17. number one!!!! yesssss!!!!! :D

    thanks so much

  18. right....that's how men argue...as if it is only his gene he is protecting and the women has no contribution :)

  19. Better late than never but thank God I finally managed to read this post.

Aristotle may have been a great philosopher but his theories about women were flawed.  Our sexuality or rather our comfort with it stems from the balance between the yin and the yan.  How our parents brought us up, whether we were made to feel ashamed of our raging hormones and what it did to us.

Especially loved how you ended the post SUb.

  20. :)...thanks....that's a good point you made....it is that feeling of pride, not only about your sex, but also about your roots and culture that builds a human being and a nation....parents has a very imp role in that....

  21. And to add to it is the society where in women are are treated are priced ornaments or perfectly manageable material[PMM a collegue of mine is in look for a wife who is a PMM] lol.  sex is one such frank factor that is so often dismissed as censor in our society. Your posts as simply mind blowing sub.

  24. Haha! I feel Aristotle was threatened by his vulnerability. Maybe his organ wouldn't listen to him and stand up in respect to a voluptuous female before him! Ego and men complete each other! hahahah! But seriously! Good facts have been collected and compiled together well.
