Welcome to KHOJ: The search to know our roots and understand the meaning of our existence.

Prejudice is the biggest problem in the society. It can be it in terms of religion, cast, sex, skin-colour, status etc. Prejudice can also be in form of the feeling that human beings are the greatest creation, or even patriotism about artificially created borders. The motto of KHOJ is to gain knowledge and break that prejudice. But there is a word of caution for the readers. To break the prejudice KHOJ might throw upon you the concepts it believes in. If the reader believes on KHOJ’s perception without question, then KHOJ itself might incept a prejudice in the readers mind thus failing in it own motto. KHOJ is trying to break its own world of prejudice, but at times that prejudice might get reflected in its writing. Please do challenge them.

INCREDIBLE INDIA!!!!

She is young…yet so old
She is rude…she is nice
She is coward…yet so bold
She is crazy…she is wise

She is peace…she is fight
She is boring…she is fun
She is wrong…she is right
She is many…she is ONE

Yes…she is the one-and-only India…INCREDIBLE INDIA! Just like its cricket team, she will surprise you in a pleasant way when you least expect it, and will disappoint when your expectations are sky high. She is an enigma, a puzzle that no one can solve. There is no one word that describes an Indian. There is more difference between people of Chennai and Bengal than between England and Spain. In fact, there was no India. It has always been divided into smaller kingdoms. There was only three phase of India’s history when major part of the vast sub-continent came under one powerful rule. It was during the rule of Ashoka, Akbar and then under the British. India has been a mixture of different cultures each having its own unique identity. Read on to unravel the puzzle......

ENTER THE DRAGON

The economies of two ancient Asian civilizations of India and China dominated the world for centuries. Around 750 BC that power shifted west to the Islamic civilizations of Middle East. A thousand years later the power shifted further west as the industrialized European Imperialism spread round the globe. The last century saw the power shifting west again to America. In turn of the century it seems like the global power has completed its full circle and is shifting back to Asia. The Asian giants China and India are preparing for the race to become the next global superpower. Who is going to win? Will it be the swift and powerful Chinese Dragon, or will it be the slow and lazy Indian Elephant? This post is about the Dragon....i will deal with our special elephant in another post....
