4th October, 2010 … Just born … excited – nervous – alone…staring at
the vast unknown. Where to start? Where to head? She crawled slowly … looking
around for attention. Along came an angle - Jhonny Walker…few
tips and she started to walk…as she walked more angles came by…and then more
followed….excited – nervous, but alone no more…a year long journey, her name –
KHOJ.

U and Khoj...a year
on….

Khoj
attempted to understand the prejudice that has been thrust upon us as we grow, like the false prejudice about our intelligence that has complicated our lives. We are now
trapped in a fast world of rat race. We are so
concerned about success that we have forgotten how to enjoy. The only way out
is to understand the simplicity of life…to let go…to follow the heart and not be
afraid to make mistakes. Why do we always need to win? Why do we
always need to be correct? At the end it is not what makes us happy. People
say, focus on the destination and problem will vanish. I say, problems are like
holes (remember holes aren’t always bad!), if
you don’t look at them you are sure to land into one of them. Pause, take time
to look around. What’s the hurry? Enjoy the journey; else you are going to miss
a lot. There are no problems without a gift. Befriend the problems and enjoy
the gifts.

The
feeling of us being the soul is very dominant within us. It is like our
identity, loose it and we lose ourselves. Khoj tried to dive deep within to
find that thing called soul. Alas! It came back disappointed. The more science
unravels the mysteries of the brain, the less we find a need for soul. Energy,
we perhaps cannot deny… an energy that is part of, or probably is, matter
itself…an energy that is entangled with all other energies… an energy called
conscience. Conscience entangles all particles forming a super-conscience…a
super-conscience with multiple personality disorder that creates so many of us.
The super-conscience is like the water filling the pond and we are like the
ripples. Our ego gives us the identity like that of the ripple. Moment we lose
that ego we realize that we are no different from the water in the pond…probably
that too is an illusion.

It all
might appear complex while I keep saying life is simple. But simplicity and
complexity are terms very human. They are also a perception. Things that we
understand seems simple and things that we don’t seem complex. The truth
probably isn’t a simple one, simply
because our window of perception is too narrow. The truth is probably beyond rationality of our brains.
So it might appear complex. But that is also a perception. Once you look beyond
that perception, once you look beyond the boundaries of rationality, everything
will appear simple.

ReplyDeleteLife is always so naive as a stoneage wheel that rolls everyday in spite of the modern technological advancement and it is indeed the perception of mankind that makes life complicated. The more u worry about ur life, the more it backfires. So, better think positive, dare to experiment and keep ur faith to the end.
ReplyDeleteNicely written facts of life my friend. Oh, I forgot to say 'Hi' to ur buddy.
Hiiiiii Buddy. Keep smiling and conquer the world
